Whitney Oaks Golf Club in Rocklin is sold to the United Auburn Indian Community. The Cantu Consulting Group is retained to oversee the day-to-day operations of the golf clubCantu Consulting Group Retained for Operations of Whitney Oaks Golf Club Wednesday, April 11, 2012 SAN DIEGO (April 11, 2012) Cantu Consulting Group, Inc. – a San Diego‐based consultancy specializing in hospitality management, golf course management and revenue maximization and management – has been retained for Whitney Oak Golf Club in Rocklin, CA. As the retained consultant, Cantu Consulting Group, Inc. will manage the property recently acquired by the United Auburn Indian Community. Whitney Oaks Golf Club is located at 2305 Clubhouse Drive – just 30 minutes east of Sacramento and includes 18‐hole, 6,794‐yard layout designed by professional golf legend Johnny Miller and Santa Rosa golf course architect Fred Bliss. “Whitney Oaks is a well‐known and respected course in the area,” said Cantu Consulting Group managing director resident Victor Cantu. “Our role will be to see that it operates efficiently and smoothly, building strong operating and strategic plans for the future success of the course.” As part of the oversight of day‐to‐day operations, Cantu Consulting Group, Inc. will also maintain the Pyramid Club Bar & Grille, the 15 station grass practice range, putting and chipping greens, the clubhouse and pro shop and the course maintenance equipment and the new fleet of 78 golf carts.
