SAN DIEGO (January 23, 2013) Cantu Consulting Group, Inc. – a San Diego‐based
consultancy specializing in hospitality management, golf course management and
revenue maximization and management – has been retained for Whitney Oak Golf Club
in Rocklin, CA. As the retained consultant, Cantu Consulting Group, Inc. received an excellent letter of recommendation from the Executive Staff of Thunder Valley Casino & Resort.

Cantu Consulting Group was tabbed in March of 2012 to spearhead the aquisition and the operation of Whitney Oaks Golf Club of Rocklin, California. The new owners, the United Auburn Indian Community, sought a golf club to augment the ammenities of the Thunder Valley Casino & Resort. The first purchase of its type for the United Auburn Indian Community, the project ranged from assisting with the due dilligence process to the day-to-day operation of the golf club once under their umbrella.

"The project was very wide-ranging. Working with the United Auburn Indian Community and the team at the Thunder Valley Casino & Resort was an excellent experience. Our goal was to offer an honest assessment of the current product, offer sound and well defined directives for improvement and lead the effort to implement and solidify those directives," said Victor Cantu, Managing Director of Cantu Consulting Group.
